He has been a freelance consultant working in Branded Content, Product Management, Strategic Planning and Promotions Development across a spectrum of companies in media and entertainment.
From 2002-2009 he was the founder and owner of Paper Bag Records where he helped build the careers of award-winning Canadian artists like Stars & Tokyo Police Club while making the label one of the most recognized in Canada. He also spent time on the board of directors of CIMA, the Canadian Independent Music Association, helping shape policy, create international business opportunities and be a voice for the independent record labels and artists across the country.
Before striking out on his own, he was at Universal Music Canada in promotions, engaging partners like MuchMusic and MTV and working with some of the most recognizable artists (Jay-Z, Damian Marley); previous to Universal he was a buyer at a major retailer. He attended the
University of Western Ontario.
