Heather is a veteran of the video game industry in Canada: after receiving a business diploma from Mohawk College, she joined Walmart Canada to become a Video Games Merchandising Assistant. A successful four year run with Walmart in the video game category led her to join Best Buy’s Canadian launch by becoming their first Video Game and Computer Software buyer.
In 2004, she returned to Ontario to help Synergex expand their video game distribution operations. She helped spearhead the departments plan to expand from 2 to 15 publishers in two short years. As the Director of Operations, Heather became integral to the company: besides creating detailed and successful Standard Operating Processes, she was the key contact for video game publishers, their sales teams and customers.
